I have been told there is virtually no one using that control point at almost any time. Maybe someone else knows what I am talking about?
There are four passport control points to go landside (so I am
not including the air-side "entry to Schengen" passport control point):
1) at the end of the F pier (downstairs)
2) at the end of the E pier (arrival level)
3) at the end of the D pier (downstairs)
4) at the end of the G pier (downstairs)
Depending on the time of the day and arrival schedules of the various flights, all passport control points can be busy or quiet. They sometimes close 2) and 4) above, and will put up signs to one of the other passport control stations.
# 2 above is often quiet.
