Hmm, I am trying to decide whether to cancel my DMMC before
the next annual fee is due, $75 sometime this fall. I originally
got it for the 25K mile bonus on first purchase - which I eventually
got after about a dozen telephone calls and numerous threats of
consumer-complaint action. I'm wondering whether the companion
certificate is worth it for another $75 and likely a lot of hassle in
actually getting the certificate (from what I read above). I'm also
curious if the certificate has any add'l rules (other than the fare class
of the full-price ticket) and if it applies to "sub-airlines" since I'd
most likely want to use it for a trip to FLG involving Mesa Airlines
for the PHX->FLG leg.
