Been down it twice.. this last time in Maui we opted not to go because we were on the island for only 7 nights. Twisty windy, was ok for me, but not so for my wife.. but we like to drive all over the island, so say on a 10 day trip, we would have made the ride. Drought wasn't as bad as what others let on.. There was quite a bit of moisture for a couple of days.. its dry, could be better, but not horrible like the Kohala Coast on BI. Call concierge at the hotel.. or Maui information desks who sells tickets.. if no one from FT can comment you on the waterfalls.
