I am looking into the purchase of an Iphone and have been looking at the AT&T data plans.
I already know that their intl. roaming charges are outrageous which is why I use Orange in France/Germany.
But looking at their data plan-which I guess I would need for GSM access- it works out to $19,500/GB
Data Global Add-on to Domestic PDA, BlackBerry, or iPhone Plan:200MB included (in select countries!), $.0195/KB for additional usage.
This sounds ludicrous, am I missing something?
Note that I believe I can use Skype overseas on the Iphone for "reasonable" rates.
