Glad the play was good but sorry to hear of your hotel probs. We didn't want to take a chance on a hotel so booked the Alphotel Ettal through booking.com. It worked out much cheaper than the package but I hope the service and rooms are ok and the weather is good - I think we will probably walk to Oberammergau from there. Really hope it's warmer for us - the last couple of years Bayern has been really hot when we've gone, 8C sounds a bit miserable.

So I suppose the killer question is would you go to the Passionplay again?
