Actually, the oneworld F lounge at LAX was quite nice when I was there in fall of 2008 (I got the impression things were under construction or that this was a new space). While not quite on the level of the F lounge in LHR or the Concorde Room in SYD, it was a comfortable, brightly-lit space with good salad bar options, comfortable chairs, a good view, and amenities like showers.

Although I haven't been through SFO or YVR, I would not discount LAX at all.
