Actually, the new TBIT lounges are decent. At least the Oneworld Business lounge is. I haven't been to the F side, but if the F side is as least as nice as the J side, with some better food and a few more premium wines/spirits, it would get a decent grade. (The old one was atrocious). And the terminal remains a pit.

SFO - new terminal and nice dedicated lounge. Yes, there is the weather risk and a terminal transfer.

The BA flights will probably come/go on or close to schedule even with non-optimal weather. (The big problem is arrival delays, but the BA planes are on the ground for awhile.) You will need to plan an early arrival for AS just to be safe. It is a relatively short walk over to BA but you do have to go landside. The terminal itself is a beautiful public space, and if you have time, there's a museum & various art exhibits (in the pre-security area), and then a really nice concourse. Even the gate areas are pleasant. Every two gates are in a sunken area, away from the shops/restaurants, with plenty of seating.
