Recently every Hyatt I've been to in NA offered RT channel which seems to carry news and stories with a fair amount of Kremlin spin, similar to, for example, Chinese CCTV4. While I welcome diversity (and appreciate another recent addiiton - NHK World) this one seems hardly the best choice.

Why RT and not for example more respectable (IMHO) BBC or CBC?

What got me particularly annoyed is that in the past Hyatts used to offer VS channel (that currently carries NHL playoffs) but now it's gone and RT seems to have taken it's place.

How is channel selection decided?
