Enter the new BA routes to IBZ and PMI. Will it be THE END of LCY?!
Will hordes of scummy chavs straight off the estate invade the airport? Half drunk people everywhere, loud shorts, rowdy men in their early twenties, or young screaming kids....
I know it's just for the summer season. But still. Honestly. I fear the worst.
I'm flying PMI-LCY in mid June and GLA-LCY-IBZ return in July all in club so will report back. With the demise of Globespan's daily PMI flights these routes are actually quite an attractive option for us lot in GLA/EDI who are going over for a couple of days as ba.com will book connections through LCY with only a 30 minute gap and the evening return flight IBZ-LCY is the same aircraft that continues up to GLA (I think).
Not all that cheap either, GLA-IBZ was £540 return in club, but that was better than paying £406 for Euro Traveller which is a crime in itself.....
As for half drunk people in the airport, what ever is wrong with that? It's the only way to travel
