Were there any questions relating to the new "Premier Rewards" Gold card and/or double bonus points for $X spend or certain categories? I think that card offers a better value for the points hungry consumer.

However, the airline lounges and various insurance products keep me on the platinum.

IMO, I would like the platinum ramped up to earn more points on a consistent basis and not just specials and promotions.
