Seems to be a targeted promo - and yet I already have many questions. Do I have to use that hertz code, or do I just have to earn miles, do I have to stay at Hilton, or will my July1 profile update do the trick, etc, etc.

Please speculate away - I can't see spending money I wouldn't otherwise jsut for 7K - and specifically, using any hertz plan number other than my work one will cost me $$...
