I think the DD is confusing your FT with the regular Diamond qualifiers. As per YOUR T&C, your FT Diamond status is ONLY good thru 2011. You should be neither upset nor disappointed if your card states this. And you have no argument about it.

If it says 2012, then it is a surprise (IMO unwarranted & undeserved) gift.
