At DL London checkin, give the agent both of your separate DL ticket records and the agent should be able to see both reservations and tag your bags all the way to Boston.
After picking up your bags and going through US customs, just past Customs will be the luggage recheckin counter where you hand the bags to be transfered to your flight and you head to your Boston gate.
