I've got a flight tomorrow. I am an Elite and the seating chart only shows my up front coach seat as reserved, but not specifically reserved for me; however my return coach seat farther back shows up as specifically reserved for me.
Seating chart suggests that the return flight may have more passengers, but it could simply be that more people on the return flight opted for advance seating.
