An interesting add on is that depending on a number of issues, Marriott has been known to keep a person at their current level even if they didn't meet the normal requirements. There are some who post here that have stated that they came short of the 75 nights needed, but Marrriott kept them at Plat level.
So basically you can say you would be
at least Gold the next year and might even keep Plat.
