I think it's a bit rich that they are still charging the cancellation fees when there's an FCO advisory in place advising against travel to BKK. Don't forget that because of said advisory, your travel insurance will probably be invalidated if you chose to ignore.
I doubt that they will waive the cancellation fees unless the situation descends further into complete anarchy and airlines start cancelling flights into BKK.
