Welcome to FT, haqs.

45 minutes from touchdown to train in AMS is VERY tight.
1. Taxi to gate can take up to 20 minutes (if you land on the 'polderbaan').
2. Immigration with a Canadian passport = non EU. Can take some time as the queue can be substantial (maybe not too bad at 6am).
3. Wait for luggage can take up to 15 minutes.

Of course it can go quicker, but if an important connection depended on it, I would not be at ease.

Make sure you buy your train ticket from the machines in the luggage hall whilst you wait for the luggage to appear.


Completely OT: is this really the best way to travel from ADD to FNA (which is 3551 miles in a direct line)? You will be doing 6630 miles. Or is it a MR ?
