I just want to confirm what my thoughts are on baggage fees. We booked a domestic award ticket months ago back when I was plat. I have since dropped to silver. There are 4 of us on one PNR. My understanding is that we will be able to check up to 8 bags at no charge. Is that correct?

We won't need 8 bags, but probably about 6 for our 9 day trip. We will at least carry one on. We are getting ready to pack & will carry more on if my thoughts are incorrect.
