SEA-LHR - via DTW or AMS?
Long time lurker, first time poster.

I have to travel to London, unfortunately on my dime. I usually fly domestic so I don't know what would be better, to fly over the top to AMS on a 330 and then to LHR, or to DTW and then to LHR on a 767-400. I have to buy a cheapie fare, so no upgrades unless it gets full in back, even though i have some certs.

I do like AMS airport, might be fun to go to skyclub there. But then again, I could get upgrades on the SEA to DTW route.

Thoughts?
