45 minutes enough time to catch train at Schipol?

Hi everyone,

New to the Flyertalk. Hopefully this is the right forum for this question.

I am arriving on a KLM flight from Khartoum/Addis at 5.45 am.

I need to get to Brussels airport to catch a flight to Freetown, Sierra Leone at 11.25 am.

These are separate tickets, and yes, I have to do it this way because I am combining business and personal travel.

It seems not as easy to get from Schipol to Brussels Airport as I would have thought. The best I could find was the train, leaving Schipol at 6.31 am, arriving at Brussels Midi at 8.10. Then I would catch a train/taxi to Brussels Airport.

Is 45 minutes enough time to deplane at AMS, go through customs, collect my luggage and catch the train at Schipol?

It seems tight... and the next train is at 7.09 and gets into Brussels Midi at 9.42 -- and to catch a flight at 11.25 am seems impossible.

Any thoughts? Really appreciate your advice.

(I will be travelling on a Canadian passport.)
