I can't work out why the TSA disparagers are getting their knickers in a knot.

If a wheelchair is checked, and a baby carrier is checked, why shouldn't a dog be checked too?

(And yeah, I'm waiting for the usual "But TSA screeners aren't checked", "freight isn't checked" type comments. This issue has nothing to do with those. )
