Sorry for not being clear - am planning to be on AA. The route I have outlines is SFO - LAX - MIA - MBJ - MIA - LAS... Non-stop, so to speak. It would get 500 BA tier points for around 750 quid. Would be arriving into MBJ circa 11:30am in the morning, from memory.

Earlier this year I did SFO - LAX - MIA - CUN - MIA - LAS for similar money, but looking for a change...
