A very useful resource for beer drinking visitors to San Diego is the website of the San Diego Brewers' Guild.

I'll also add +1 to visiting the Toronado (not "tornado") on 30th Street and the Stone World Bistro in the North County town of Escondido. Links to these and others are on the Brewers' Guild website.
