Strikes - Seating refund questionare
Hi there
I'm new to the forums but have read them as a lurker in the past before I have taken flights with BA.
I am due to fly LHR-SEA in World Traveller + on 3rd June and my question is this:
I have come across this form when making my booking regarding getting a full refund of your flight if you are asked or are made to give up the seat you have booked on your flight.
First off the form has this question:
So we can process your refund quickly, please select:
British Airways changed or cancelled my seat(s) :
Before I checked in for the flight
At the time I checked in for the flight
At the airport departure gate
On the aircraft
Now what does a "paid seat" actually mean? I always ALWAYS check-in online as soon as I can get on when it opens 24 hours before the Flight. Does THAT count as a "paid seat"?
Or is a paid seat something that you have paid extra for at the time of booking to ensure you get a certain seat?
I want to know what my chances are of having to use this form to claim for a full refund?
