Travelling with a Keyboard?

I am travelling with a professional electronic keyboard for the first time from Seoul to Atlanta (via NRT) on Delta next week. This will be a one-time event. I am flying Business Elite (using PMU) and am Diamond Medallion.

I obtained a rugged, ATA-certified shipping case to hold the keyboard, which just barely mets the requirements for musical instruments listed on the Delta website. I will of course be checking it.

Has anyone done this before, and could give me some advice?

I'm worried about two things - at check-in, it would seem that I need to declare the value of this baggage for insurance and being oversized (and pay a fee for both of those). Any idea how long this process typically takes at Incheon? Also, I'm confused - it seems that Delta isn't responsible for electronics in checked baggage, yet I can ship a keyboard and insure it for the proper amount.

The second thing I'm worried about is my arrival in Atlanta. I am travelling alone, and will be renting a car. Will it be possible to locate a porter who can help me either (a) carry my bags to the rental car lot, or (b) stay with my bags while I rent the car and bring it back around to the terminal?

This case is pretty long, about 5 feet (it's a full 88-key instrument) and weighs in just at the maximum allowed 100 lbs. It's not something I'll be able to just tuck under my arm while also carrying my regular suitcase as well. Hence the need for a porter.

Comments and advice welcomed.
