If they take it too far, the lawsuit is a certainty. I cannot imagine even the current SCOTUS trashing the Fourth Amendment that much.
The first physical strip search is certain to bring on a lawsuit, judging from the very expensive lesson learned by the US Customs. It is too bad that we, the taxpayers, ended up footing the bill instead of the goons themselves.
US Customs and Border Protection still performs physical strip searches when necessary. The strip search must have approval from supervision.
