Did they honor the CO Gold status by granting similar elite status in Aadvantage? If forced into a challenge by AA, how many miles were required to meet the challenge?

It seems to me that AA should be inviting to those CO elites like me not happy with the UA merger, by making it easy and painless for us to migrate.

One last thing. Anyone able and willing to compare the IAH-SFO CO route to the DFW-SFO AA route, as far as pricing, convenience, service, planes, etc.?
