As many of you know, gate information changes as we balance the operation throughout each facility and printing departure gate information outside of the 2.5 hour window sometimes created confusion for less frequent travelers.
What about when the monitors at ATL are down and do not display the departure flight gates? Yesterday morning arriving at E I had the usual 45 minute connection at ATL, but the gate for the connecting flight was not printed (as used to be) on the BP. The monitors only went on to R's and didn't have anything past that (the last two monitors were dark) - while I was looking for the W's. I just took a chance and took the train to A (usually the DCA flights are out of A, but sometimes I think also out of B) and check the monitors there: luckily the flight was there as I had guessed. But a less frequent traveller would have been lost (as the monitors at ATL terminal E were out yesterday morning and not displaying the last few letters of the alphabet cities) and may have missed their flight, not knowing even to which terminal to go when the monitors in the arriving term. are down.
