If you are here on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and have a car, then I'd recommend visiting these breweries/tasting rooms:

Alesmith
Ballast Point
Green Flash
Lost Abby/Port Brewing
Pizza Port
Stone (to see the facility. it's amazing)
Churchills (great food, 50 taps of great beers)

If you're stuck down in the city, the check out Hamilton's, Tornado and Pizza Port Ocean Beach.
