I also had a 55 minute boarding time printed on a 767 AMM-JFK flight the other day. So the static times mentioned by SMI may be by aircraft rather than across the system.

To clarify there 40 minute bit - that is on domestic narrow-body a/c. International wide-body a/c take longer to board so there is some existing variance for those a/c types. We hope to have the variability for narrow-body a/c soon.
