I was in Bermuda in 1990 or 91. I stayed in a guesthouse and at that time was $45/night for myself. I googled Bermuda guesthouses and one site www.bermudarentals.com looked good. (I don't have any association with them). I clicked on the box <$130 for 2. One place for summer for one person was $60/night including breakfast. Most other rates were for 2 and were around $100-120/night.

Bermuda is very expensive for food, etc. When I was there, I went to the grocery store and had their salad buffet that charged by weight. I ate well at that time for approx $8-10/meal. That was when I ate more than I do now.

Bermuda is a very beautiful place. If one stays at budget guesthouses, then it may not be too expensive. My $45/night guesthouse in 1990 is now almost $500/night. The place was acceptable/decent in 1990 but they redid the guesthouse and it got very expensive & fancy.
