I vote for Copenhagen as well, but I'm from there, so it doesnt count ;-D

Mostly, having been to all three cities, I agree the kid (and yes, I do have kids myself) would really notice a big difference.

That said, Amsterdam is very child friendly with the bikes, the option to sail a lot and so on. Maybe it will be easier for you to entertain the 4 yr old there :-D
