I am surprised that the OP does not stay at HGI's--they are arguably the principal redeeming feature of the Hilton chain.
Yes I would agree that HGI is better than Courtyard but then the more comparable Hilton brand is Hampton Inn. In which case, I think Courtyard is much better.
