Companion does not need to be on the same PNR.


I booked the other day and split my PNR with my companion and both of us were on the UG list. I got my upgrade 5+ days out, but the companion ended up just missing the UG (#3 with 2 seats available).

In any event, we were NOT on the same PNR though we booked originally on the same PNR.
