We stayed here in February 2010. Overall a nice stay and the property is very attractive. It is way out in the desert and not convenient to anything except the casino, so I recommend this property only for a relaxing getaway, not for visiting anything in the Phoenix area.
We had a bad experience in the restaurant that serves breakfast. Service was abysmally slow. The waiter showed up fairly quickly to take our order and was pretty friendly, but after a busboy brought us coffee, we never saw anyone for another 45 minutes. Seriously, not even a coffee warm-up. Other tables were coming and going during this time. Finally we got up, went to the front desk and told them we were leaving since our server was apparently never going to bring our food!
We received a phone message from a manager that day, apologizing profusely, assuring us we would not be charged for the coffees, and offering to comp breakfast the next morning. We didn't bother. Later we were given 1500 Starpoints as an apology, without asking for anything. So I feel management handled the situation pretty well.
