Finding Bus 306 was the easiest thing. And though I read the ticket office was hard to find, now you can pay at the bus during the ride and an english speaking supervisor told me, so Ididn’t waste time (probably allset2travel did the same). And fortunately no tout or scam came to me, but yes that place is chaos.

Exactly one hour to reach Terracotta ^. And just 7RMB (1 dollar!). The best decision, I spent the whole morning in this extraordinary site. Some people wrote it is disappointing cause is too dark. Pit 2 & 3 are dark but Pit 1 (the largest!) have enough light for cool pictures. Though flash is forbidden, I saw lot of people taking flash photos. Hope it doesn’t damage the warriors.

And I agree Xi’an is not an attractive city, though it has some cool places, but Terracotta is worth it. It really is. Tomorrow I'll go to Big Goose pagoda, SHaanxi musuem, and I'll see if 2 days was worth it or I should planned just one whole day (just for Terracotta)
