Not sure which incarnation of Air Asia (AK, FD, QZ or D7) you are travelling on, but condition 8.5 of the AK terms and conditions indicates:
Passengers may not use the unused Checked Baggage of other passengers unless travelling on the same Itinerary. Passenger booked in the same itinerary and does not travel may not transfer their unused Checked Baggage weight to the other passenger(s) in the same Itinerary. For health and safety reasons the Carrier will not accept any individual item exceeding 32 kg and with combined dimensions of more than 81cm height, 119cm wide and 119cm depth. This weight limit does not apply to mobility equipment.
