I know I shouldn't bite, but where is the hotel? When we worked in different cities and met up mine usually arrived first and we never had an issue with her handling all the check-in an amenity stuff. I'd just call her when I got there and ask the room number.

Meaning you are still on your way and will make the trip even if late?

Meaning she is checking out earlier than planned because of your weather delay or she feels shafted?

If you are still showing up a day late and keep the room doesn't that solve the stay-credit problem?
