if I were you I would leave my booking as is... and deal with it at checking. LH is very generous when it comes to downgrades from F to C (4K Euros). for such a short flight the seat in C is totally bearable considering the extra cash in your hand...
so stick with it and don't get rerouted on this segment, just have your booking showing your F reservation at checking.
