It's not my item, it's hertz items, I just wrote on my first message the transcript of the receipt given to me by hertz.
In your 1st post you stated
I booked my car for 3 days @ 23.5 Euros/day: total 70.5O minus 15% for being Gold

Tarif became 2 days @ 56.28 Euros/day: total 112.56 minus 15%

That is how a 3 day rental supposed to cost 120 Euros total end up to the amount of 195 Euros for 2 days..
This says to me that the 23.5 excluded taxes and that the total for 3 days would have been 120
Also, you failed to return the car full and incurred 30 in refuelling
If you had done this on the 3 day rental this would have brought price to EUR150 ; so 150 vs 195 is not even close to double but 30%
If you had returned the car full then the comparison would have been 120 vs 165 which again is nowhere near double
