You will love Amankila, my wife and I honeymooned in Bali and have many wonderful memories.

We started off at the Ritz Carlton and then moved on to Aman. We had the Aman Bali package and stayed at all three properties. We stayed in a bungalow at the Ritz Carlton but still enjoyed the Aman properties much more.

The service at Aman was superior to everyone else, anywhere. The Ritz was nice but it was a giant hotel.

Amankila is so peaceful, we splurged for dinner on the beach on our last night. The chef works with you to create a menu and the beach side dinner with just the two of you creates a really nice romantic setting.

When we would venture out, my wife and I would walk through the countryside, the people in Bali are so friendly and the little kids would come out of their houses waving and following us as we would go about.

If you have any extra clothing, I would take it along to give to an orphanage. We packed two extra suitcases full of clothes that we had the hotel donate. You can either go with them to donate or have the hotel handle it. Also, medicine is in short supply, if you contact the GM at the property, you can ask them what they need. Aman and Amankila is really good about supporting the local communities around them.
