The 60 ml shampoo and shower gel are now 40 ml. The 80g bath soap is now 60g. No big deal but just another erosion of amenities.

I have found over the last few months being a platinum member means nothing to Fairmont. I am now very assertive with both the reservation and check in staff that I am no longer prepared to accept their "closet" rooms. I have been a member of FPC since 1994 and a platinum member for the past 4 years and premier for 5 years before that. It appears this year I will not make the platinum status as I have found other properties that provide a better experience at the same or lesser price.
