Was on BA 275 ex LHR 28/4.

LAS closed for about 1.5 hours due to high winds and sandstorm - diverted to Phoenix.

Refuelled, sat on tarmac for about 40 mins then continued into LAS.

Quite a sight to see the stacked up flights landing in quick succession.

Comical end to a long flight as reclaim belts clogged with sand - "belt starts one bag appears belt stops" - continue about 30 times.

Manpower called in and cases are manhandled through the "hole" one at a time to waiting pax!!!!!
