I have never cut my ties with AA ever since CP go the way the dinosaurs went. Though, I was kind of forced to join Star-Alliance and Air Canada, I have not abandonned the idea of flying AA and Oneworld again which I still have significant vestige from the era when I was a happy Oneworld flyer. Given that I still have some hundred of thousands of miles in AA and BA each, I have always made an effort to keep myself up to date with the latest promo and program info and sometiems I have been receiving comp status or special promos from AA times to times as well.

For the first time, in a long time, I will be setting foot in AA metal again - in their Transcontinental First Class! What a way to be welcome back to Oneworld, can't wait. And I must say AAdvantage customer service/award desk is really a pleasure to deal with, very professional and some very kind agents.
