On a flight TLV-MAD at the dinner hour in 2009, we were given a hot meal, typical airline food, some kind of chicken/rice thing with cookie and/or cheese/crackers, etc. I don't recall if there was a choice offered. Don't expect anything grand but there will be something to eat and it will be complementary.
