Quite a few gates in T3 are barely used until the evening, when the int'l flights begin.

It's a shame really because JFK is probably the worst airport I've been in within the US. Poor customer service, atrocious facilities, long walks, stained carpet, frequent flight delays and cancellations, etc. Of course, DL isn't to be blamed for all of this.

I hate to think that JFK is the first impression that a first-time international traveler has of the U.S.
