My wife and I each purchased, through a combination of cash and miles, international tickets (FOR-LAX, and SEA-FOR, each with a change of planes in ATL). We were immediately upgraded to Biz (Z) on all legs but ATL-LAX, for which we are still in Class M, and wailisted for "First (G)." That flight is on June 15. That's the only flight that has First. Others on planes that only have Biz (by my reading of Delta's site). Delta said we'd be informed via e-mail if we were upgraded and there was no telling when and if that might occur, though others said it's good to call once in a while. Today I did and they said it looked "good" since there were still 21of 24 FC seats available.

Questions:
1) Is there any point in my calling again?
2) Is there any way to gauge the status of such upgrades? I know it's not quite like the "upgrade" list showing on the monitor at the gate.
