As I understand it there never was a SEN card with no expiration date. I was told, when your SEN runs out you must ask for Lifetime and you will get a new, regular 2 year card etc.
Are you saying this no longer exists, or are you saying it always was a optional benefit and it still is...........
Please clarify if you can.
Has anyone taken advantage of this, this year?

as posted elsewhere here some months ago:
I (> 60 yars old, > 1 Million m&m status miles, > 10 years of uninterrupted SEN status per end of 2008 already) got confirmed life long SEN status with effect starting march-1st 2010 (2 letters: one from LH miles&more, one from LX miles&more Kloten did thank me for my loyality, cofirmed my future life long status and did add, that I also do get the 2 'usual' upgrade vouchers).
My former 'normaly earned' in calendar years 2006 and 2007 SEN status would have ended by feb-2010, and I made 0 status miles in 2008 and 2009 ...
The new SEN card looks like the old one, has again imprinted an expiry of 2 years (feb-2012), but I expect from now on automatic renewal every 2nd year.
