If you're talking about the IAD-MAD service on EI metal then yes, you get EQMs since this is basically a wetlease and it's therefore a UA metal flight for all mileage purposes.
For any other codeshare, it is only the operating airline that counts and hence no EQMs if it's EI metal.
We are wondering about flights other than the IAD/MAD service.
So UA's policy is different than the norm , say at AA where AA flight numbers is all that counts
I understand that UA and EI are partners and so no EQM's if flying on a EI flight number ( partners mils yes), but I always thought that by flying on a UA flight number that EQM were possible.
So why would one fly on a UA flight number on EI , if all you end up getting are regular miles whether you buy the ticket with EI or UA flight numbers
