I've done this before, for FriendlySkies-Mom, and will be doing it again in two weeks. I'll fly in, stay at the RCC for an hour, while I meet with a friend I haven't seen in a few years. When it is about time for my flight out of there, we'll cancel his ticket and he can be on his way. I don't see any problem with it..
